  2024 Grammy nominee Bryan Carter to The Appel for his first season concert performance. The Tony Award winner, drummer, composer, and vocalist presents his four-movement meditation on the legacy of singer and activist Bayard Rustin.

  A pivotal figure of the Civil Rights Movement who served as a mentor to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Rustin was also a vocalist who moonlighted as a recording artist. Throughout his storied career, he persevered through unrelenting discrimination as a queer man of color.

  Carter leads the Jazz at Pride Orchestra—his acclaimed 31-piece ensemble—across different musical eras, exploring the complete lineage of Black American music through the ethos of a jazz musician. Expect an evening of stylistically diverse songs and arrangements featuring a talented roster of musicians who celebrate Rustin’s life and legacy.

• 1 hr Shakespeare/ Voice / Text Coaching w/ Kathrine Puma-Katherine has worked as a teaching artist, acting and vocal coach, acting teacher and director for individuals, schools and programs around the the country.

• 1-Hour Acting Coaching Session w/ Leslie C. Nemet- Spend an hour getting coaching from a professional Acting Coach, Director & Casting Director using material of your choosing.

• Apartment Cleaning w/ Max Raymond-Kick off your new year with an apartment cleaning! I work as a part-time apartment cleaner for a professional cleaning agency, so I'm offering a one-time 3-hour apartment cleaning (over $120+ value). This cleaning includes surfaces, floors, tidying, and dusting. As part of this offer, I will also provide one deep clean service of your choosing: a cleaning of a hard to reach place, molding and baseboards, inside your fridge or oven, a grout scrub, etc. We can coordinate to find a date/time that works for both of us. Let me help you feel at home in your home!

During each session, I utilize the foundations of Usui Reiki, the Chakra system, crystals and intuition to direct the flow of energy where it is needed most in the body. In my Reiki sessions, my aim is to connect and facilitate the flow of this beautiful energy for the betterment of your greater good. I offer in person sessions and distance Reiki.
