• Try to sum up your Artistic Voice in three words! (Just fun, no wrong answers!)

• What was your earliest passion/inspiration?

Playwrights:  What inspired you to write your first play? 

Actors:  What was the first role that truly inspired you?

• How much do other plays and/or performances affect your artistic vision?  

Playwrights:  Do other writers affect what you create? 

Actors: Do other performers affect what you want to create and/or not create?  

• How much does feedback/constructive criticism  affect the type of work you make?

• How do you take risks as an artist, and what can you do to take more risks?  

• What affects decisions regarding your work?

Playwrights:  When do you start a new play, decide a play is finished, ditch a play that’s not working, or decide you need to take a break from a play in progress?

Actors:  What leads you to decide to audition for a role?  What makes you decide not to put yourself forward for a role?  What leads you to turn down a role that’s offered?

• Do you articulate what you hope to accomplish before you begin a project/role?   

• What makes your life experiences and artistic expression unique from those around you?  

• What helps distinguish your art from others?

• What new ideas are obsessing you right now? 

• By having this conversation, have you thought of an artistic vision or goal in a clearer or new way?
  

This is our chance to talk with each other about topics that we as artists, creatives and humans need to have. The key is we talk to and with each other. There is no panel or special guest that is smarter on a topic. We are the collective smarter panel.
